Disappointment always hits...

My parents went to Florida this week to close on their retirement house this week.  The bank suddenly sprang a "we need this" on them and now they aren't able to get their house.  It's ridiculous.  People who have worked their entire lives are trying to get set up for their retirement after 51 years of working and the mortgage company pre-approves them and then they can't get their house because it's going to take 6-8 weeks for the IRS to provide the paper.  It's crazy.

Outside of that, and not winning the lottery this week, things are good.  My daughter is performing for her acting class and glee camp tomorrow and I am excited about seeing that.  The guys who are working on the siding for the house finally left...after blocking the driveway, asking me to move my car from where it was parked in the road and then interrupting us during dinner, I was glad to see them leave!  Although, they didn't have the decency to tell me they were going so I could move my car from the neighbor's driveway.

Anyway, things to look forward to include packing to prepare to move out of this house when it gets sold by the landlord and going to see Monsters University tomorrow night with my daughter.

Actually life is pretty good - at the moment there are just a lot of tests happening and we need to try to get through.  I hope my mom and dad get a house; the right one for them.  In the meantime, we will all just carry on - Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake!
